ITpunks exists because the transition from education to professional experience is being disrupted — and because we think that is a problem worth solving with real work, not with another course.
For decades, beginners became professionals by doing the simple parts of real work: the boilerplate, the tests, the fixes nobody wanted. AI now does those parts for a few cents. Companies still need experienced people — but the way people became experienced is disappearing.
In 2026, Technology LT ran a ten-week pilot: seven computer-science students, selected from more than thirty applicants, working on real problems with full professional tools, frontier AI, weekly rotating team leads and pro-bono mentors who showed them what they actually do. We treat what we saw as observations, not proof — but what we saw was enough to keep going.
Real problems + young talent + mentors + AI = real experience. A team of four. Ten weeks. A working prototype for someone who needs it. Evidence of what each person did, evaluated and signed by people who watched.
Not a job board. Not a bootcamp that charges students. Not a staffing agency renting junior hours. Not an AI that scores people. Participation is free; companies support the programme; humans make every decision.

Selected participants may be invited to work with Technology LT teams, customer projects, the Internship Academy and future ventures — as a real chance, never as a promise.
